Meet the founder

Lauren Barringer

Founder, Lead with Hive

Lauren started her orthodontic career at the front desk — fresh out of UNC Charlotte with a BS in Exercise Science — and never left. What began as an entry-level role turned into a calling, and over the next 15+ years she built her career from the ground up inside the same company she joined in 2012.

In that time, she helped grow that practice from 1 location to 7 — taking on treatment coordinating, all admin and financial operations, management, team leadership, company growth through building, acquiring and rebranding, and full business bookkeeping and financial operations.

She built Lead with Hive because she kept seeing the same gap: practices handed the keys with no real playbook. Outside consultants offered frameworks that didn't fit — built for other practices, not yours. Lauren built Hive the way she wished she'd had it from day one: flexible, practical, and designed to protect your team and your doctors while giving you the foundation to grow your way.
